NB BOULEVARD

This is a pilot project that started in 2014 to create recreational and tourist incentives in the city of Nueva Barcelona. It is a large-scale project with approx 125750 m² of intervention area. Given the terrain’s complexity, the project’s generating concept was to prioritize the pedestrian scale through pedestrian circuits and bicycle lanes that allowed a comfortable and inclusive circulation.

It was necessary to subordinate each one of the projected typologies according to their sustainability over time and to build responsibly with the local environment.
