NB BOULEVARD
Launched in 2014, this pilot project was conceived to create recreational and tourism incentives within the city of Nueva Barcelona, revitalizing the urban landscape through a large-scale intervention spanning approximately 125,750 m².
Given the complexity of the terrain, the project’s core objective was to prioritize human-scale mobility, incorporating an extensive network of pedestrian circuits and bicycle lanes to ensure comfortable, inclusive, and sustainable circulation.
A key aspect of the design was to subordinate each typology to its long-term sustainability, ensuring that all built elements were responsibly integrated into the local environment. This approach not only enhanced the functionality and accessibility of the space but also reinforced a commitment to ecological and social sustainability in urban development.
